19 February 2010 - DHO Digital Humanities Specialists Dr Faith Lawrence and Shawn Day travelled to the University of Ulster to present workshops on Seeing Data Differently: Emerging Tools for Scholarly Analysis and Presentation and A Date with Data: What is this Markup Stuff Anyway? Attendees at both workshops actively participated in two days of hands-on sessions and short lectures designed to foster digital humanities skills development and to encourage discussion and sharing around scholarly practise.
Participants created their own online social network as a means of learning by doing and shared their thoughts and insights in realtime during the workshop.
