This workshop will offer post-graduate and doctoral researchers in the digital humanities an overview of the capabilities and technical requiremensts of Content Management Systems. During this session, attendees will gain an understanding of the features available, how to judge between systems and a very brief look at how to deploy a CMS to share research products and findings. 

Topics will include:

  • Background and Exploration of Technical Requirements and Specifications
  • Choosing Between the Major Players
  • Installation and Configuration of a CMS
  • Directions for Future Exploration
