Irish Film & TV Research Online is designed to bring together the wide diversity of research material relating to Irish-made cinema and television as well as Irish-themed audio-visual representations produced outside of Ireland. Comprising almost 40,000 film and television entries, the website also includes a 1,200 item bibliography of Irish film and television writings, and a biographical database. In 2010, the first tranche of Irish film censors records, those from the 1920s and 1930s, held at the National Archives of Ireland will be released, a project also funded by the IRCHSS.
