CELT brings the wealth of Irish literary and historical culture to the Internet. By June 2012, it has a searchable online textbase of 15.2 million words, in Irish, English, Latin, French, German and other languages, encoded in TEI-conformant XML, in over 1270 contemporary and historical documents from many areas, including travel, politics, literature and the other arts.
