The Digital Humanities Observatory (DHO) is an all-island digital humanities collaboratory working with Humanities Serving Irish Society (HSIS), national, European, and international partners to further e-scholarship. The DHO is a knowledge resource providing outreach and education on a broad range of digital humanities topics. It provides data management, curation, and discovery services supporting the long-term access to, and greater exploitation of, digital resources in the creation of new models, methodologies and paradigms for 21st century scholarship.

Llyfrgell Genedlaethol Cymru, the National Library of Wales, is one of Wales’s leading cultural institutions, and its principal source of recorded knowledge. It is a body of international standing, and contributes to a worldwide network of knowledge providers. The Library set up a programme to digitise its collection in 2001 by establishing a dedicated digitisation team. Since then this team has been responsible for digitising a wide range of materials from the Library’s extensive collection and have contributed to many digitisation projects over the years. The Library’s knowledge and expertise in the field is substantial.

Culturenet Cymru collaborates with heritage bodies and community groups throughout Wales to develop a range of innovative projects. With a firm emphasis on lifelong learning and social inclusion, our aim is to produce high-quality online resources that explore and promote the heritage and culture of Wales.
